I have been a member for 8-10 years, during which time, the course had seen some good improvement. There are daily games of several skill levels among the members that visitors are welcome to join.
Saying that, course has had, and continues to have, ownership problems. Present owner is not keeping the course in good playing condition. The main problem seems to be the total lack of interest of the owner to run a golf course. He apparently bought the course with the idea of selling it off as building lots. Since his ownership began, the restaraunt and dining facillities and bar have been closed and at least some of the money to maintain the course is coming from donations fron area businesses and members. With any kind of a decent owner, the course, which is 18 holes, would be the best in the area.

This course is a public course with a country club mind set. They want to be private so bad that they treat non members like a waste of time. The course is in good condition if you can play the week before a tournament or just after, otherwise you can't ever tell where the fairway is to the rough. The movers don't stop for you when your playing. The pace of play sucks if you get behind the members. They don't let you play through and the clubhouse would do anything about it. Members play music loud when they play. The etiquette is not there. I only play this course because its out my back door & I'm in a hurry to get out to play.
